By downloading, installing, or using the Kaalchakra mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. The App is owned and operated by CW Ventures Private Limited ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").

2. Description of Service

Kaalchakra is a mobile application that provides daily cosmic forecasts for users in India. The App combines the following features:

• Real-time weather data powered by OpenWeatherMap
• Vedic astrology calculations including Panchang (Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana)
• Muhurat timings (auspicious and inauspicious periods)
• Chinese Zodiac readings
• Daily Tarot card from Major Arcana
• Numerology calculations (Life Path, Destiny, Soul Urge numbers)
• Birth Chart (Kundli) generation
• AI-generated personalized horoscope insights
• Festival and Vrat calendar
• Family group forecasts

3. User Accounts & Data

The App does not require account registration. Your personal data (name, date of birth, birth location) is stored locally on your device. If you use the Family Group feature, family member data is stored on our servers linked to your device ID. You can request deletion of server-stored data at any time through our Data Deletion page.

4. User Responsibilities

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App.
• You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide (name, date of birth, birth location).
• You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
• You agree not to use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our servers or networks.

5. Intellectual Property

The Kaalchakra name, logo, design, and all content within the App are the intellectual property of CW Ventures Private Limited and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of India.

• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our prior written consent.
• All Vedic ornamental designs, mandala patterns, and visual elements are proprietary to Kaalchakra.
• AI-generated content (horoscope insights, affirmations) provided to you is for your personal, non-commercial use only.

6. Disclaimers

6.1 Astrological Content

All astrological, numerological, tarot, and zodiac content provided by the App is for entertainment, spiritual, and informational purposes only. It should not be considered professional advice of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any astrological predictions or cosmic forecasts.

6.2 Weather Data

Weather data is provided by third-party services (OpenWeatherMap) and may not always be accurate. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies in weather information.

6.3 AI-Generated Content

AI-generated horoscope insights and affirmations are created using Google Gemini AI. These are algorithmically generated and should not be treated as professional guidance. We do not guarantee the suitability or accuracy of AI-generated content.

6.4 No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CW Ventures Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms:

• OpenWeatherMap — Weather data provider
• Google Gemini AI — AI-powered insight generation
• Google Play Store — App distribution

We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party services.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected with an updated "Effective Date" below. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App. You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the App from your device.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
